On 28 May 2019, the Secondary 3 students were engaged in real-world learning through their learning journeys to the Lee Kong Chien Natural History Museum, Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) Gallery and Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. Through their experience, they were exposed to themes such as environmental conservation and urban planning.
Students had the opportunity to interview tourists to understand their perception of Singapore’s land use. They also created podcasts and advertising videos to promote Singapore and educate others about the competing demands on the environment. Through these activities, they had fun learning collaboratively with their friends, while they explored the venues independently based on their interests and passions.
