The 10th “Global Village” Children & Youths Bilingual Speech Competition is aimed at promoting the understanding and appreciation of the language and culture between the student participants from Singapore and China. This morning, two of our Secondary 2 students took part in the preliminary round held at NUS@One-north campus. They spoke confidently about their perceptions of China.
“Through this competition, I learnt how to become more confident and how to read Chinese passages more fluently. Not only that, I also learnt and understand more about China through the topic.” — Candice Chin Ke Qing, 2E2
