HOD Student Development

Mrs Nandini Chatterji graduated from the National University of Singapore, with majors in English Literature and History. She received her Diploma in Departmental Management in 2002. She taught in Bowen Secondary School before joining Serangoon Garden Secondary School. She has been teaching since 1979.

Currently as Head of Student Development, Nandini has received training in many areas including counselling, sexuality education and special needs support. She has also been involved in organizing Humanities trips for pupils to Japan and Venice and a CIP trip to Vietnam. Her sharing sessions at cluster level and at Teacher’s Network include teaching pedagogy and pupil welfare matters.
