HOD English

Judy started teaching in 1991. A former student of Tanjong Katong Girls’ School and Victoria Junior College, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore, majoring in English Language and Literature. Upon graduation, she went on to complete her Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) at the National Institute of Education.

She first taught at Serangoon Garden Technical School and held the post of the Subject Head/ EL for 2 years. When the school merged with Serangoon Garden Secondary in 2003, she joined the staff as HOD/EL. She completed her Diploma in Departmental Management course in 2005, receiving a team award, the Dr J. M. Nathan Memorial Prize for Creativity. She received her Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) degree in 2011.
