What is Direct School Admission (DSA)?

Under the Direct School Admission, secondary schools will select some of their 2011 Secondary 1 students earlier using criteria other than the PSLE results. These criteria are schools-based and seek to allow a greater range of student achievements and talents to be recognized.

In May 2011, MOE approved Serangoon Garden Secondary School’s (SGS) application for Niche Development in the Uniformed Groups (UGs). SGS is now able to offer the Secondary One student places on a discretionary basis to build our approved Uniformed Group (UG) niche programme from 2012.
